Problem with CD drive after downloading windows updates
-----Original Message----- I have recently downloaded 19 updates from the windows updates and have been unable to get my CD drive to function since. When I load any cd the hour glass replaces my pointer and the computer freezes. I have to shut down the computer before I can resume any other function. Any ideas on what I can/should do. Thanks for your consideration. Mark .i kind of have the same problem, butmine will load everything EXCEPT the recovery disk. do you know what i should do?
