Default Win98 crashes when recording from Terratec 512i

Hi all,

any idea why my Win98SE, Directx 9, P3 866, Intel chipset crashes when I
record analog input with a Terratec 512i digital?
Tried VXD and WDM drivers, no difference.
Interesting: The crash does not occur if the analog input is driven with
a fat signal, as soon as the analog signal stops (record ends on record
player), the system crashes. This also happens if I only activate the
level monitoring on audiograbber or Audacity. As soon as the analog
turns to silence, the system crashes. No error message, no mouse, no
ctrl alt del.

To email me, remove the underscore...

Best regards,

Andre
