Default TV Out function is enabled

Hope this is the right group. W98, Power DVD5. Was able to watch
movies but recently had to reinstall W98, and now not able to watch.
Says code error F4D 41436 & says tv outport not working properly.
Have found discussions where other people have same prob, but not
found solutions.
tks, edolo.

You probably don't have the right video display adapter driver installed. I
redid the system on a Dell yesterday and XP loaded up a similar driver but
it did not indicate TV Out in the nomenclature in device manager. I loaded
the Dell video driver off of the resource CD and all was well.
