you can programmatically check by using WMI

Hi,

WMI comes builtin with WinME/Win2k/WinXP/Win2k3, but to be able to use
it on Win9x or NT4, you will need to install the WMI core.

WMI CORE 1.5 for Windows NT 4.0

To use WMI to obtain BIOS information:
