Default missing required .dll

When I was away from home one of my family members deleted
some spyware programs off our computer. Now when I try to
run an application it says it's missing a required .dll
file. This happens to every single program I try to run,
including the internet. How do I fix this?

Does it perchance mention which DLL or is it unsure. If a particular file
is mentioned, you could try running System File Checker (SFC) at the Run
dialogue:

WIN+R (type) SFC (enter)

NOTE: WIN as in above is the Start key on the keyboard.

Then choose single file and enter the name of the file.

That sounds more like a virus if it is every .exe file.
If so, then this Swen fix will correct that.

http://download.nai.com/products/mca...rt/Fixswen.inf
(download, right-click, select Install)

If not, then please supply the exact message and the name of the .dll
