How may I uninstall "findfast" in MS-Office please?
Win98se
I wish to permanantly remove "findfast.exe" which sits in the Control panel, and MSconfig. I can locate the finfast exe file but that may be the wrong way to do it?? TIA |

TIA open findfast in control panel ...delete all index's , then remove the reference to it in your startup folder (programsstartup) |

Otherwise it will rebuild the index. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to bring up the task list. Locate Findfast on the list and select it then click on "End task".
