Default How may I uninstall "findfast" in MS-Office please?

Win98se

I wish to permanantly remove "findfast.exe" which sits in the Control panel,
and MSconfig.
I can locate the finfast exe file but that may be the wrong way to do it??

TIA

open findfast in control panel ...delete all index's , then remove the
reference to it in your startup folder (programsstartup)

You need to kill the copy that is running first. Otherwise it will
rebuild the index.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to bring up the task list. Locate Findfast on
the list and select it then click on "End task". Once this is done
then you can delete the index in Control Panel.
