MS Word for Win98 SE?
[Please pardon the double post. It should have been
cross-posted, but I forgot to do that.] I'm running Win98 SE, but my most recent copy of Word is Word 6 (for Win3). So far, I've managed to deal with MS .DOC files with WordPad and other word processors, but now I need a genuine MS Word. Is it too late to buy such a thing? Looking at dealers, I see only late versions of Word and MS Office (I don't need the whole Office suite), which all seem to need Win XP and points north. I really don't like to change to a version of Windows that doesn't run on real DOS, but where could I buy a version of Word for my rig? -- R. N. (Dick) Wisan - Email: - Snail: 37 Clinton Street, Oneonta NY 13820, U.S.A. - Just your opinion, please, ma'am: No fax. |
