Start - up disk process
I have cleaned and reformatted the HD and am attempting to
reinstall Win98SE. Using option 1 - With CD Rom support: After the CDRom driver is loaded and ASPI manager loads the process hangs. This hang does not occurr if Option 2 is selected but I cannot identify a CDRom drive? I have loaded DOS 6.2 but still cannot access the CDRom drive. Anyone ideas on fixing this or working around it? |

Start - up disk process
Try a new startup floppy disk. You can make a floppy boot disk with the
Fat32ebd.exe file located on the W98 CD: tools/mtsutil/fat32ebd or you can download one he http://www.bootdisk.com/ -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo "Paul S" wrote in message ...
