installation error
when i try to setup windows me, i found an error that
stating " GENERINC INSTALLER ERROR, MESSAGE SU99407, ADD REG = PROCESSING ERROR (OX197)pls give me some sugession regards v.p. suresh

Are you clean installing Win Me, upgrading from another operating system
or reinstalling Win Me over itself? The error SU99407 is usually either the result of the system hive of the registry being damaged or the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\SharedDLLs reaching the 64KB size limit for a registry key. If not a clean Win Me install try uninstalling some applications. The file setuplog.txt in the root of C:\ should contain more information about the causes of this error.
