Wordpad can handle the file sizes that Notepad cannot and it can colorize text as well as display graphics. MSWorks Word processor, currently you can find/buy 7.0, but since I have used 4.5a in the past, I much prefer it. There are other word processors from other vendors. -- Sincerely, | (©) (©) | ------ooo--(_)--ooo------ Andrew H. Carter | /// \\\ d(-_-)b | |

I suggest OpenOffice.org Writer, a part of the OpenOffice.org productivity /suite/. OpenOffice.org is completely free (open source) and competes with Microsoft Office. It is available for download at http://www.openoffice.org/. With OpenOffice.org Writer, you can open, edit and save docu- ments: - in its own format (OpenOffice.org Writer Text Document); - in the format of Microsoft Word; - in the Rich Text Format (RTF); - in StarOffice Writer Text Document format; and - in the HiperText Markup Language (HTML).
