no operating system found
When the computer freeze, I restart it, then theres an
error, I press the F1 key to resume, the computer won't start and the message "no operating system found" appears. I tried to restart the computer for a number of times but no luck. How do I restore to a previous good system? |

Sounds like you've either got a failing CMOS battery (press F1 key error
report) and/or worse, *maybe* a failing hard drive (no operating system report). First check is to boot with your WinMe Startup (floppy) Disk and see if you get any of the above reports. If the first (only) then you'll need to replace the battery (see your user manual). That *may* well correct both reports - with a bit of luck g Mart "Jay" wrote in message ...
