Default Windows Help Problem

My Windows 98 Help (Start -- Help) does not work when
going to different levels. The screen blanks out at the
4th level. For instance when clicking:
Start -- Help -- 32 bit PC Card Support --
troubleshooting -- PC Card Trouble Shooter Click Here
etc. -- Check "My PC Card doesn't work." -- After this the
help section of the screen goes blank. Is there anyway to
restore Help using a Windows/Options/Cabs file to restore
Help rather than the recovery disk?

There are two different fixes, depending on the Windows updates you have installed.
The original fix for the older update was this:
First, click Start Settings Folder Options View tab, and click to enable "Show
All Files" and click OK.
Click Start Find File or Folders, and search the C:\ drive for a file named
Tshoot.inf...it should be found in the \Windows\Inf folder.
Right-click Tshoot.inf and click Install on the menu that appears.

If the latest cumulative patch for Internet Explorer (November) is installed, there
is only a workaround.

If You have updated from Microsoft, the help funktion

have disappeared, because You will get better help from
the support sides from Microsoft

.
