Driver wizard problems
I am running windows 98 and and have recently completed a
factory restore. Prior to this all my USB devices were set- up and functioned without any problmes. Recently I have attempted to install several USB devices all of which HAVE their applcable disks with drivers on. However the driver wizards fails to locate a the drivers wether I have specified them or simply told the wizard to searcht eh CD- ROM. I have tried downlaoding updates from the manufactures websites, sadly to no avail. It appears that windows recognising that a device has been plugged it but is unable to extract and use the applicable driver. Any thoughts would be most welcome. Kind rgds Thoams Daniels |
