Thumbnail views for videos

I've heard there's a way to allow a thumbnail view for video files (MPEG,
MOV, ect...) with Windows 98. What this would do is show the first frame of
the video as the thumbnail of the video file. Apparently this can cause the
file to become uneditable (such as renameing). But does anyone know how to
apply the thumbnail for videos? I think it's a registry entry. Thanks in
advance!

In Explorer Right click on a folder and select Properties in the popup
menu.
Place a check next to Enable Thumbnail View.
Click Apply Ok.
Open the folder in Explorer.
On the Tool bar click the dropdown arrow next to Views and select
Thumbnails.
