Default Repost - Failure to Resume after Standby -Win98

I've had this problem once or twice a month for the last 3 months, now it's
a daily thing. Any attempt to resume after the computer goes into
standby/power management is a waste of time. All I have is a black screen
that remains blank despite all efforts ; CTL-ALT-DEL, reset, and power
button accomplish nothing. I've tried setting the system standby to -never-
but receive the same results. Current settings on PM a standby 30 min -
turn off monitor 10 min - turn off hard drive 10 min. Any help would be
appreciated.

Kierana
