Default Dual Boot problem

I have Win98se on one hd and XP on another hd, same computer. Before Win98
crashed on me, I had no problem going to one or the other OS with the menu
appearing. But since I had to reformat my C drive where 98 was and reinstalled
it, I could only get into win98. There is no menu for a choice anymore. How
can I get into XP under these conditions? Thanks
