cant open explorer or any folders and cant install anything on my comp
My computer has Windows XP on it. It currecntly wont allow me to open
any folders or install anything on it. I dont have a recovery disk since my work installed the sw on it and i do not work there any more to have them re-install. Is there anything i can do? I've searched these forums and most posts say to install items. Since i can not do so, I'm looking for an alternative. I've tried booting from a cd and that doesnt seem to do anything. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Your best bet is to post to an XP newsgroup where you will get advice from
people that support that system. This is a W98 newsgroup in case you missed it. -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo wrote in message oups.com...
