Default Media Player 9 Skipping

I subscribe to LaunchCast, a streaming music service. The sound comes out
skipping, like a scratched audio CD. LaunchCast told me to reload Windows
Media Player. I did this, and now the sound skips within media player and the
LaunchCast too. I have used the recommended settings from LaunchCast, as well
as the recommended setting from Media Player. Nothing is working. I am
connected to the internet thru DSL. Any help on this would be greatly
appreciated.

Regards.
