Default Sound Skipping with Media Player 9

I'm subscribed to LaunchCast, a "pay for" streaming music service. The sound
skips, like a scratched audio CD. Launchcast told me to reload Windows Media
Player, and the problem would be solved. Not solved. Now the sound skips in
Media Player, and in LaunchCast. What is causing this? I've adjusted all
setting within media player to what LaunchCast recommends, I've adjusted them
all to Media Player's recommendations also. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.I'm connected thru DSL.

Regards
