Very good, Loon. Something to be said for an ancient perspective. I'm with
you.
Pretty damn good crew, too, I'd say, even if it's only lifeboat
accomodations!

What do you care? People who've been answering questions in this group
more or less since Win ME was released have been effectively proven over
several years to be allowed to chat amongst themselves in between

helping others.
You might liken it to a workforce being more productive when it enjoys
going to work. Of course, you could always take it up with Microsoft.

On Mon, 07 Feb 2005 02:41:36 GMT,"Jack E Martinelli"
penned this whopper in
microsoft.public.windowsme.general

There is a wonderful red wine produced in a winery
just west of Fort Worth, Texas, ... no kidding! 90 pts. from Wine
Enthusiast, ... and I agree. Who wudda' thunk it!

Sounds like somebody's been dancin' with mescalitto again.
Isn't Texas Wine an oxymoron?

LOL, good wun, Rick. Oh yeah.......Texas Wine, that is an oxymoron, Mike,
think it is right up there with British Intelligence. (I'M KIDDING! IT'S A
JOKE! LOL!) Besides, I'm half Brit myself.......--don't want some surplus
Vulcan bomber flying over me.

Ahem......you have just insulted all of the gurus, you half-wit (or was that
half-Brit).....heh heh.

Vulcan......hmm. My mind is failing me. What was the delta winged jet that
used to come to my Air Show in '82? The pilot (lecherous old coot) only
came over to pick up chicks!! He eyed my secretary (Elayne) and I told him
in no uncertain terms that she was *off limits*!! (VBG)

Back to cleaning out the emails. Durned if I didn't hear from someone today
who has reams of letters written by my Cumberland ancestor.....and she is
phoning me tomorrow. YAHOO!! Keeping me from my cleanup tho.

Cheers.....Figgs
M.Sgt. USAF....figure that one out, Loon.

Your state-of-mind notwithstanding, that's the one, Figgs; low-altitude
pass over Lake Ontario followed by a bank and climb.

Rick
(you'd see the aircraft profile at what seemed eye-level from an
embankment on shore with everybody cheering, then they hit the AB, and
as it went through a slow, stately climbing turn, everybody's jaw
dropped at the sight of those *magnificent* delta wings... swear you
could hear the air roaring from under them)
