Default SHUTTING OFF ITSELF

My computer has been shutting down by itself. The light on
the modem still blinks like it is on, so I then have to
manually shut it off. It usually does this while I'm on
it. But sometimes even if I leave it on over night, I wake
up and it is off. PLEASE help. Thanks

That looks as if something is sending it into standby - or your monitor is
switching itself off
Go to the Display Settings, and check out the power management options

It's not the monitor it's the modem. It completely shuts
down but the light is still on and I can't turn the
computer back on until I manually turn it off (hold the
power button in). All of my power management options
say "never". Thanks for your help though. Any other
thoughts? Please let me know.
