Default Direct Cable Connection

I am trying to install direct cable connection component.
When I try it asks me for my windows 98 second edition cd.
I have lost this disk and am wondering can I download the
necessary drivers/components from anywhere.

most manufacturers of pc load the "cab" files on the computers hard drive and do the install from there on windows 98. try pointing it to c:\windows\options\cabs when it asks or c:\win98
