How do I find XP workgroup?
I gave a computer to a friend at work that I took of my LAN. A Win 98se
machine with the workgroup named 'home net' like all the win 98se machines on my network. He now has to get this computer connected to his LAN including an XP Pro laptop. He says he has a router and his laptop is working wireless. What do I tell him to do as I thought all needed was to change the workgroup to that of his LAN which I can not tell him how to find on the XP system. This system I gave him is already configured otherwise as it was removed in working condition. Thanks for any help. J. |
