Default Application doesn't look right

Well I had a problem with one of my hard drives not showing up the other day
and I was trying to re-install the drivers like it suggested and nothing. I
came across this application called keyhook in my system folder and its
labeled as an application but I dont know what it is. When I checked into the
properties, under the Legal Trademarks it lists only $, for the Original
Filename its called KEYHOOK.EXE. The Product name says its SIS (R) Compatible
Super VGA keyboard daemon. Im not sure if this is right but it doesnt look
right to me. Anyone with some advice on what to do, I tried to delete it but
cant because "the specified file is being used by Windows.

Anti-spyware tools

Adware/spyware/hijackers and other types of malicious programs are a
different animal. These can only be fought with certain anti-spyware
programs and (most importantly) by educating users. Here are some links that
will get you up to speed on the scope of the problem as well as some
recommended solutions.

I also have this particular Keyhook.exe in my harddrive and my spyware and
Virus checker do not recognise it as a problem file. It shows a small red
icon like a spider next to it. My problem is that every so often my computer
shuts down completely with no warning. In the C directory there is a Notepad
message called Keyhook and when I open it the following message reads:-
-----------------
DestroyWindow

FreeDirectInput
-----------------
I have to reboot the computer twice to get it back to normal, as first
reboot stops just before the Welcome Screen apppears and I then have to
reboot again.

If anybody can help it would be most appreciated and anything technical I
cannot understand.

I to have this Keyhook on my computer in same area. Every now and again my
computer just shuts down for no apparent reason. In the C drive using Windows
Explorer there is a Notepad file called "Keyhook" and when I open it , it
reads:-

-----------------
DestroyWindow

FreeDirectInput
--------------------

and that is exactly what has happened at time indicated on file. If anybody
can help it would be appreciated please. Nothing technical as not my forte.
