-----Original Message----- When I start up Windows ME it gets stuck & all that appears is the wallpaper. . \ Try doing Ctrl-Alt-Del. See if something called "eularas" is listed. If so, End task (it will give you a not responding message-end task again). Then Start-Run- msconfig. Go to Start.ini and uncheckmark eularas. Restart computer. You will need to do the C-A-D endtask eularas again. You'll get a "specialized startup box"Check the do not show again box. You are done and the computer will start normally. |

Can you boot to Safe Mode?
If so, then try a System Restore back to the last date the computer worked correctly -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2005, Windows) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.btinternet.com/~winnoel/millsrpch.htm http://tinyurl.com/6oztj Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's "Eric" wrote in message ...
