Auto Dialing
I have a Win98SE networked to a Win XP, with RDClient on both machines. One
of the machines is constantly trying to dial the ISP, and I can't find out what is doing it. I have the connection configurations at "do not dial".. Have all programs auto update, etc/etc disabled, yet something is still trying to get connected. I have Process Explorer on both machines, but neither shows who/what is initiating the dialup. I think it is the 98 comp, but am not really sure. Driving me nuts. Any suggestions? |

Auto Dialing
My suggestions would be to (1) run a mal-ware scan, and (2) deinstall and
reinstall Dial Up Networking. "Dave B" wrote in message ... I have a Win98SE networked to a Win XP, with RDClient on both machines.
