Default IP ConfigurationFatal Error

I have an ME box (HP Pavilion 7940, PIII 128 RAM) And it
had the Klez and Elkern virus, which I removed with
Norton. Now when I try an ipconfig it gives me: IP
configuration error, cannot read IP configuration. I
installed a new NIC and the same thing. The drivers are
OK. Any thoughts are appreciated,

Tim,

Try these Microsoft articles:

Also, try LSP-Fix and WinsockXPFIx from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm.

And Tim, please don't contribute to the spread and success of email address
mining viruses. Learn to munge your email address properly, to keep yourself a
bit safer when posting to open forums. Protect yourself and the rest of the
internet - never post your address unmunged.
