Dial-Up Networking
On Windows ME my computer often will dial up my ISP when I
turn on my computer. Is there a way to stop this? I don't have dial up in the start up menu. Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you. |

Dial-Up Networking
Won't that prevent Netscape or Internet Explorer from
dialing in when I want to use those programs? -----Original Message----- Select 'Never dial my default connection' in Internet Properties|Connections -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2004, Win9x) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.btinternet.com/~winnoel/millsrpch.htm Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's or http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/f.../Mar27pmvp.asp "Mike" wrote in message ... Dial-Up Networking
Nope - just means that you have to confirm the connection manually.
