can't get windows login at startup
I recently had my computer cleaned of viruses and since I
got it back, the Windows logon window doesn't automatically appear at startup. In order to get to my desktop, I need to logoff and re-logon. I've tried setting the autoadminlogon and defaultusernamd & defaultpassword keys to my logon in the registry, and have the Primary Network Logon set to MS Family Logon. Ideas? |

Change your logon type to Client for Microsoft Networks. Check the Registry
for an autologon key in this location and delete it if it exists: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\ Network\Real Mode Net -- Richard G.
