can't get Floppy drive to work
I reinstaled windows 98 on my computer and now the 31/2
drive A reads 5 1/4 and won't work. I went into bios and changed it to 31/2 For A and no B dive and saved it and restarted the computer. It still reads 5 1/4 and hangs up if you put a disk in and try to read it. Is there anything I can do with this problem? I have even put in another drive and cable off a computer that was workning and the same thing. |

First go to Bios and disable flopy drive. Then chk after
that pc hanged or not.If pc not hanged then return bios once again & changed flopy 3.1/2 & saved CMOS setting. If problems not resolved then changed lithium batery. It will clear the problems. -----Original Message----- I reinstaled windows 98 on my computer and now the 31/2 drive A reads 5 1/4 and won't work.
