Tapisrv
I frequently get the window - Tapisrv has performed an
illegal operation, etc. etc. I was able to find the program - start, find, file - but I cannot open it and I don't want to delete until I know what it is. Hope someone can help me. |

When you get an "illegal operation" error message, click the "Details" button, and
post back with the exact details word for word, up to but not including the memory registers; and also include what you are doing when it occurs. You might try the Resolution listed in this article: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=306424 -- Glen Ventura, MS MVP W95/98 Systems http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm "Laura" wrote in message ... Details - Tapisrv caused an invalid page fault in module
KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff9dfff. It has happened when I was playing Solitaire and also when the computer is idle. Hope this helps. Update your anti-virus app and then run a full-system virus scan.
Use CWShredder, the CoolWeb removal tool, available he http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads31.html http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads...CWShredder.exe http://aumha.org/downloads/cwshredder.zip Close all browser windows and open apps, start CWShredder and click the Fix button. In addition, install Ad-Aware 6 free edition, start it, click its 'Check for Updates' link in the app to install updates, then use it to scan your system, and remove what it finds. Ad-Awa http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ Install, update and run SpyBot Search & Destroy, scan your system, and then remove the items in RED only! Do not change the default settings for the program.
