Laptop PC Card Eject Problem (Minor Issue?)
Hi,
I've been posting my laptop questions at japan.comp.toshiba and not receiving any replies, so thought I'd try here if I may? Maybe there's a laptop computer hardware newsgroup you could point me to? Have a laptop. Installed a SMC PC Card (LAN) to connect to a router which connects to a cable modem. Works great. Question: Is it okay to eject the card from the PC Card slot while the LAN cable is still connected to the card? Sometimes when I unplug the LAN cable, unknown to me, I haven't depressed the plug-release enough and end up PULLING the card out of the slot. Not a very elegant way to remove the card! Thank you in advance. Cheryl |

Laptop PC Card Eject Problem (Minor Issue?)
There would be no problem ejecting the card with the cable attached, and for
the reasons you indicate it is probably the better way to do it. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "Cheryl" wrote in message ...
