Help: wireless internet
Dear Windowers,
I have a problem with wireless Internet. My Win98 laptop makes connection with my (all-in-1) Internet apparatus, but cannot make connection with the Internet. For example, I can see the signal strength with the Internet aparatus, but when I try to visit a web page visit I get a "page not found" error message. On that page the is written "DNS error". With another WinXP laptop I encountered the same problem, but by means of the Wireless network connection wizard/support/repair-function, WinXP repaired automatically the problem and I could go on the Internet. Since my old Win98 laptop (to my knowledge) does not has this function, I can not apply the same trick. Does anyone know how I can solve this problem? Grt, Wing |
