What is the exact text of the error message(s) that you are getting
when you try to start the computer?

Your problem is not the same as the one reported by Tina as her
computer will boot up, at least to the point of being able to display
an error message.

Your problem, because there is absolutely nothing showing on the
screen, is obviously different.

You need to contact the store where you purchased the computer, or the
manufacturer, and find out the meaning of the two long beeps at power
on. It is obviously some critical component that is failing the
"power on self test" but which component is not readily apparent as
different makes of computer (different BIOS versions to be strictly
correct) use different signals to indicate the various possible power
on failures.

Your failure may be in the video card, the motherboard, the RAM or the
CPU chip. The meaning of the two long beeps, when you find this out,
will tell you which component is the problem.

But in any event it is highly likely that a visit to a repair
technician is going to be necessary.

Good luck
