Default Syncmaster 955DF install returns a DIRAPI.DLL error caused by MONS

I have a Compaq PIII with ME installed. I have moved my Samsung Syncmaster
955DF from a Compaq Celeron under W98SE where everything worked fine. How
can I get around this MONSETUP has caused an error in DIRAPI.DLL issue. I
haven't found an updated driver to download.

Monsetup isn't part of Win Me and dirapi.dll is part of Adobe/Macromedia
Shockwave. Is this a Samsung utility for Windows 98? What happens if you
don't use this utility? No utility should be required to connect a
monitor although it might then show in the Device Manager as Plug n Play
Monitor rather than as a Samsung Syncmaster.
