Default reinstalling windows


Hi There,

after some help trying to reinstall windows 98 - at the
moment when i try to start the computer it comes up
required .dllfile shlwapi.dll not found and says you need
to reinstall windows. Unfortunatley this is before i can
get into the main screens to run the windows cd. how do
you run the cd from the ms dos screen? any help greatly
appreciated.

Shlwapi.dll is an internet explorer file so you might be able to fix this by
reinstalling the version of IE that you are using. See this article for a
technique to do so when your PC won't boot:
