Default fdisk: partitioned only part of 80 gig disk.

I'm not stuck; I can go back and Fdisk again and try and
figure out where I went wrong. But, have never tryed a
chatroom so are there any suggestions or conformations.
Fdisk was not smooth sailing-- any suggestions other than
pratice? Thanx--Chuck

Chuck
two possibilities....

1) It's possible that your motherboard doesn't support drives of that size -
in which case you may have to install Drive Overlay software - consult your
motherboard manual for details of its capabilities, and the HD
manufacturer's website for the software

2) you didn't answer 'Y' to the question Enable support for Large disk
drives' in FDISK - this would result in the drive being partitioned to 2GB

I take it then, that you have a 2GB C: partition????
if so, then the easiest (not necessarily best) solution is to re-FDISK the
drive accepting the 'Y' prompt, and reinstall

DEATILS help!!
