Microsoft office install

I have a handed-down computer with Windows 98 Se. When
my son gave this to me it had all the office products(
Excel, Word, Notepad, Outlook, etc) which I could use.
Now they are "gone". Error message says" this
application must be installed to run... " every time I
start the computer; I cannot find an installation setup
from any directory to re-install or open on my computer.
At one time I know that I followed 'some" advice which may
have deleted or hidden these Windows programs. How do I
get them back? Any help would be appreciated. Donna Coscia

Reinstall MS Office from the CD.
