I've just upgraded to XP. As I'm finding it impossible to get drivers for
my scanner I wonder if I can go back to 98SE. If I install it from the original disk will I be able to get the MS Updates up to the point where MS stopped supporting this OS? Thank you |

To go back to win98 you need to backup your data... erase the drive and reinstall win98 I think I'd just get a new scanner... otherwise...create two partitions install win98 on one and XP on the other and dual boot |

Epson Perfection 1200Photo (same as 1200U or 1200S).
There is a driver in their page but it does not work with XP SP2, and I've surfed the Net without much joy. Did you try this?
http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/s...egory=Products I don't use the Epson scanning software. I just use the Twain with my Graphics programs for scanning.
