Default Add/Remove Programs Tool (2)

Look - I've had two answers to this query BUT the
respondants have NOT READ THE POST. The operative word
here is that NO as in NONE as in NADA programs are showing
up in the tool.

This does NOT mean that SOME of them don't show up... NONE
of them show up. So trying to do a fix because all of the
programs names are longer than the allowed string isn't
going to produce a solution, thank you.

Also it the ADD/REMOVE button doesn't highlight either -
which means I can't ADD any programs with the tool. NOW...
if you have a solution, I would surely like to know how to
fix this little bugger. Thanks tom

Gee - But I did read his post and there are NO names with
more than 63 characters in them. In fact I stripped the
longest ones out and pasted them into Word to count and
the longest was only 45 letters long. Still need a
solution thank you.

The respondents DID read your post. It appears to be

yourself who did not
read their (Alan's) reply otherwise you would KNOW that.

Mike,

FWIW, Tom has since been in touch via email and I have fixed his

Thanks for that tidbit Alan and once again well done. Seems then as if Tom
did eventually get to read to the end your post since you invited him to
contact you in your original response.

Cheers,
