Hello,
I had been using Windows Program Paint which is under
assessories to do/modify/save my pictures. Now I cannot
open Paint anymore. A box with the message MSPaint has
caused a error in MFC42.DLL and MSpaint will now close.
The pictures I had saved in Paint and viewing them in MS
Paint are now viewed in Microsoft Picture it
Publishing,Platinum.
Can anyone help me out here?
I would like to be able to utlize the Paint program again.

See MS KB215632 - "Invalid Page Fault Starting WordPad or Paint"
(http://support.microsoft.com?kbid=218632) which explains that the problem you
are having with MS Paint is probably a result of a damaged registry entry.
The KB tells you what to do to, hopefully, resolve the problem.
