Default copying from a floppy to a cd

My Inspiron 6000 doesn't have a floppy drive and I would like to copy from a
floppy to a cd to access my files any suggestions

I don't understand your problem. Does your system function properly, or are
you locked out and need to get in? Do you need to access files on your
system or on the floppy disk?

take your floppy to a machine with a floppy drive and a cd burner...

or if the other machine lacks a cd burner...email the contents of the floppy
to your machine
