Default Internet Script Error

Hi,

Everytime I attemp to open a file in Windows Explorer, I
receive an Internet Script Error. Here is the message:

Internet Script Error
Line:260
Char:4
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
Code:0
URL: File://c:\windows\web\folder.htt

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

It does allow me to go into the file after I say yes or
no, but there must be a way to get rid of this message.

Thanks

Click start button/settings/control panel/internet options. Click the
advanced tab at the top of the window. Make sure "Disable script debugging"
is checked. GregT

To add to Greg, uncheck "Display a notification about every script error" as well.

Hello,
I have checked "Disable Script Debugging" and
unchecked "Display a notification about every script
error". The problem is still there...

I see. It won't hurt to check for viruses/spyware, while waiting for
something more specific to come along.

Refresh your Windows Scripting Host Package files by applying
this.
Microsoft Windows Script 5.6 (Windows 9x, Me, NT4)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Still no joy, uninstall everything Norton.
