Default trend chip away

upon booting for last few weeks I noticed something called
trendchip away on guard version something anywho when it
boots up that's all the info it gives me and then it boot
up as usual any ideas what it is? Also ran my mcafee no
viruses etc and only thing adaware found was cookies

Trend ChipAway is a hardware antivirus solution that comes with many
computers these days. You turn it on or off in the BIOS (hardware)
configuration when you boot your computer up. You may wish to turn it off
if you already have antivirus protection you are comfortable with on your
computer.
