screen size??
Win 98se, nvidia riva tnt2 model 64, 17" monitor.
Had a "glitch" in my system. Had to reload driver for video card. Switched monitors also(both 17"). Now whenever I set resolution to 800x600p the screen view is small and oblong and the setting on the monitor show horizontal alignment @ 100%.. When I change it to 640x480p the desktop fills the screen but any other screens I open or way out of range of the screen. Suggestions please, L. |

From your description I would think it is vertical size (height) not
horizontal alignment that should be adjusted. Look for a setting for refresh rate under the advanced option of the display applet, and try different settings with different monitor adjustments. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "L/P" wrote in message ... Sorry but it's the horizontal adjustment that's messed up, squeezed together. When system/Windows first starts to open, the full screen is taken up so I'm assumming when the driver kicks in that's when the screen size goes "nuts". The screen view leave ~ 3 inches on each side and none on top/bottom. L. "Jeff Richards" wrote in message ... Refresh rate did it.
