emails from OE6 into Ms Outlook
My secondary drive is old hdd (which have w98se) which I used OE6 for my
emails previously. My new primary hdd is also win98se and I am now using Microsoft Outlook for my emails. I read thru the art 313055 and I dont quite understand under "Import Your Mail and Folders" - item 3, I dont seems to have "click Messages". Is there a different article for importing from OE to Ms Outlook. Appreciate some assistance please, thanks |

313055 doesn't apply to you.
What version of MS Outlook, please? Can you access data from the old HDD using the new one? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Shell/User, Security), Aumha.org VSOP, DTS-L.org robert wrote: My secondary drive is old hdd (which have w98se) which I used OE6 for my emails previously. I have done a search of ( say all the dbx files) and copy into the desktop of
the primary hdd. The old hdd (making noises) has been taken out of the pc. The Ms Outlook 2000 (9.0.0.2711) version. "PA Bear" wrote: 313055 doesn't apply to you. What version of MS Outlook, please? Assuming the fileset includes Folders.dbx. import the data into an OE
Identity (I suggest creating a new one for this purpose via File Identities Add new identity). See below. Once you have the data running in OE, you should be able to export it to OL via (OE) File Export Messages ... You *cannot* import the DBX files directly from the desktop into OL. -- OE General newsgroup: news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...xpress.general OL General newsgroup: news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...utlook.general ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Shell/User, Security), Aumha.org VSOP, DTS-L.org robert wrote: I have done a search of ( say all the dbx files) and copy into the desktop of the primary hdd.
