CD ROM not accessable
Hi
Just installed Win98se on a friends machine, I've been using the CD ROM drive to install drivers etc, but all of a sudden the drive gives a message: "D:\ is not accessable. The device is not ready" So I can't carry on with the upgrade. I get no probs in device manager, plus the only info on the drive is that it's 54X, no model or make info, and the driver is installed off the Win98se disc. -- Regards p.mc

Remove the device in device manager, and allow Windows to re-install the
