Is this a trick question?
There are no service packs for Win98 SE.
(or am I having a senior moment as well?)

well, maybe that's the trouble then, no wonder I couldn't remember how
to find it.. LOL

I don't remember what I was reading now, something about installing
new software, and it said something about determiniing what service
pack was installed first.. I could have sworn it was referring to
Win98, but now can't find or remember what software I was looking at..

geez, this getting old is a pain sometimes.. ;-)

If I ever find what I was doing when I wrote this I'll let you know.
LOL

thanks Alan..

It might have been referring to W98--there is a SP for it. As Alan said,
there are no SPs for W98SE.

for ANY O/S?

I'll be working on an XPHome system this morning for a friend and that
might be handy to know... ???

Control panel, add remove programs. XP has a new SP2 that includes SP1 and
all changes between the two.
