I have saved photes in a folde rand I want to arrange them my way but the computer will not let me. I can arrange by date, name etc. and auto arrange but not manually. When I try to arrange them the way I want it just goes back to the organal arrangement when the folder is closed. Is there anyone who knows how to arrange files manually and having them staly that way in a folder. I have already tried renameingall the photos so they could be arraned by name but that did not turn out. I am working with windows ME Thanks This may not work, but: Right-click on the file and select Properties/Summary(Tab). Type your 001's 002's etc. into an appropriate field. When you're done click on the bar at the top of Windows Explorer for that folder, where the sorting fields are (Name, Date, Attributes, whatever) and add whatever field you put the 001's... in. The sort on that field. Good luck Rick |
