Default Incompatible version of the RPC Stub, Error # 0x80070725

Need help

When trying to load "Driverguide Toolkit and WinDVD6, I get the error
message described in the subject. When I go to the Microsoft Knowledge Base,
I get article 256881 which says that I should not have leading zeros. How do
I have any control over whether these programs have leading zeros or not? (I
am running Windows 98 on an AMS Tech 440 mghz laptop computer with 64 megs
of ram and 6 gigs of harddrive space.)

Thanks Ed

Oleaut32.dll, Olepro32.dll, Asycfilt.dll and Stdole2.tlb files (and possibly
others). This may create a mixed file version environment with files that are not
compatible with each other.

Also, check Control Panel Add\Remove Programs for Gator, Webhancer, Web 3000,
Delfin, or Promulgate, and uninstall them. They may still be on the machine and not
in Add\Remove. You will find them with Ad-Aware.

Install Ad-Aware 6 free edition, start it, click its 'Check for Updates' link in the
app to install updates, then use it to scan your system, and remove what it finds.
